trying to kill him
well guys i'm trying to kill ross
i got him something for christmas that might kill him and i even got the DVD so i have the proof for the insurance company
he has always wanted to skydive -- there is a weight limit of 240 lbs -- soooooooooo
for christmas i got him a tandem skydive he was sooo shocked!! but it's something that he wanted and now it's something he can have -- a reality -- he never thought he would ever do something like that cuz of his weight
also, his jammies were too big that i bought him -- he only needs a large -- stupid me
last christmas i was buying him 4X
it's amazing what a little surgery can do for a person -- the possibilities that open up -- the self esteen that comes with the procedure -- the dreams that can become realities -- who would have thought
this WOW moment was brought to you by:
Roberta
if anyone knows anything about scuba diving i would be interested in purchasing that too for our anniversary -- if skydiving don't work i'll have to try to drown him ;)
Holy Crap!
Skydiving? I don't think so.
I'm so afraid of heights that I have to pay someone else to go up on my roof (and it's only one story) to clean the gutters! So, jumping out of a plane? Yeah... not so much.
Large PJ's for Ross? Cool.
We took a trip to the store so I could purchase some of those cozy microfleece lounge pants to sleep in (I'm always cold now) and my wife insisted that I buy a Large. I told her that she was out of her mind. There's no way I should buy clothing that doesn't begin with an "X" or two, right? Well, those Large pants are actually a bit "large" on me. I wear 34 inch waist jeans now, so why can't I accept the whole Medium / Large sizing thing? Weird.
So, I hope you're feeling good - you're just over a month out, right?
You two have a great New Year - And you guys should really consider coming up to Toms River for one of our support group meetings and after meeting "excursions". There's a bunch of folks from our group on the board here that I'm sure would love to meet the both of you in person.
Be Well,
A.J.
hey AJ
hopefully now i'll get something i want lol like 2 tickets to a sox game at fenway i don't care what team they are playing -- just 2 tix to fenway
yup i'm a month out on 12/22 and i feel awesome!!! i just feel great!! the jeans fit still having trouble getting into a standing position after being on the floor -- but time and loss will help with that
take care
roberta
Hi Roberta and Ross !
Yeah I second AJs suggestion.. any chance of you guys coming to the meeting at Community Hospital in Toms River the first friday of January? We would love to meet you guys, and moi (the Timmy Ray person) will even be there... (when last seen in the wilds of Maine... a beard was noted..... : P)
Congrats on the skydive... but I dont think my heart could take such a thing personally hehehe so my hats off to you, Ross.
Hugs, and God bless
Timmy Ray
