It's confirmed, it's official . it's really gonna happen

ok, I just now got my appts set up for endoscopy, labs, etc, last appt with surgeon before surgery. and all that stuff. ok.......my tummy is churning this morning. I am happy, scared and excited. This is now becoming really real, and the time is flying. December is going by in a blink. Please say a prayer for me everyone, I can use each and every one I can get. thank you , Happy Holidays everyone! Cissy

AJ, you are right. I am almost ready for Christmas. And I already ordered my medi-fast 2 weeks protiens shakes diet, and it already came today. I have to start that on New Years Day. Yes, I love Christmas, but I am only half hearted this year. I am so focused on surgery, and getting healthy. But you have it right. I am gonna try to calm down. Thanks for your reply. I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU CISSY. I REMEMBER DOING THE LAST TEST AND TRYING TO GET TO THE INS APPROVED. I DID GET TO THE INS APPROVED, BUT THAN THE SLEEP STUDY CAME BACK #13 AND HAD TO GO TO SLEEP STUDY AGAIN. NOW WE HAVE A PRO-SPECTIVE DATE OF FEB. 12TH. I WANTED TO DO IT ON A LONG WEEKEND, AND SOME SICK TIME. BUT I'M A BANDSTER, AND WE NEED LESS TIME THAN THE "GB". WELL, DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE ENDOSCOPY, THAT WAS A PIECE OF CAKE. Hi Cissy.. welcome to the New Jersey Board. I can relate to how you feel... today is my two year anniversary. Two years ago I was 610 pounds.. living alone in the Midwest.... scared.. terrified... and mildly stubborn... I didnt tell my brothers and sisters about the surgery and I was not from Iowa originally (I grew up in Oregon) so I opted to go it alone.... It was cold... 4 degrees above zero F the day of my surgery... and I drove it alone from my home 140 miles away... and felt so alone. The good news is.. your not alone. You are blessed enough to have us to annoy you ! (lucky you : )) AJ is right on... * r-e-l-a-x as much as you can.... focus on happy holiday thoughts.. and before you know it surgery will just .. happen? Thats what happened for me.... it sounds like your doing great... be encouraged ! It is a scary time before surgery... but the more you come * here * to the New Jersey board... and ask questions.. or share you feelings.... the more you will learn you are not alone. If having a person to touch base with on the telephone would help..... speakup? There are several of us..including several ladies.....here on the Board and that are part of the support group in Lakewood/Jackson/Toms River/ Central Jersey that would love to support you including via phone if that would help? If so let us know so we can set it up for you.. a lot of times ladies are more comfortable with calls via phone from other ladies.... though I have been a phone support person also a few times : ) YOUR NOT ALONE. we all here on the board have been through it... so as much as you are comfy with... come post daily if you can.. and tell us about your feelings and how things are progressing? aww, thank you so much Timmy Ray. yes, I sure do appreciate any and all encouragment from all of you who have gone before me. You have all been there and done that, and bought the t shirt. too. LOL It is Christmas Eve right now, at 11:34 pm. Santa is up in the sky somewhere over Florida, I just heard on NJ news channel 12! (Yeah right) but I do appreciate your humor and your kind words.
