Approved for WLS!!!

Hey Guys, I have been reading posts on this forum for a while but I have never posted before. But I just got the BEST news of my life! I have been approved by the insurance company for Lap band Surgery on 1-15-07. I have finally been given the tools to take my life back!! 27 days and counting........ I am looking forward to share more of my progress on this forum. I would like to say that all of your posts have been very helpful in preparing me for surgery. I commend everyone on here for their efforts in the WLS process. Happy Holidays

I forgot to mention that my surgeon is Dr. Nicholas Bertha. I cannot say ENOUGH good things about him. He has fantastic bed side manner and is a straight shooter. He doesn't sugar coat anything. When you see him in the office, it is like you are the only patient that is there. He answers any questions, concerns or fears that you have. I didn't feel rushed, and I felt that he really understood the way and obese person feels and what they go thru on a daily basis.
