I found my guy.....Vadim Gritsus, M.D....in my old home town

Hi Elaine: I had my surgery with Dr. Gritsus on January 10, 2006. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Gritsus and his staff!! You are in good hands!! Are you going to have your surgery at Chilton Memorial - I also can not say enough good things about the folks at Chilton! I am from South Jersey, and had consultations with several doctors in my area. Every time I left a consultation, my inner voice told me " don't do it!!". When I met Dr. Gristus and his staff, I know instantly I wanted him to do my surgery. It has almost been a year, and I am down 135 lbs. My life has changed for the better!! Lap band...thanks so much ..

HI, I have just started looking into having the lap band surgery. I'd like to know too if you are have lap band or bypass? I too am looking for a doctor that others have been happy with that is located in Northern New Jersey.

Hi Shelly: Dr. Gritsus does both lap band and bypass. I had bypass done. I have to say, that I am very happy with the level of care I have received. Best of luck!!

he is wonderful! i am actually having gastric bypass surgery by him the day after christmas, ONLY 9 DAYS AWAY! i am completely at ease knowing im in the hands of such capable, wonderful people as dean and dr gritsus. My mom had lap band surgery by him in july, and she is doing wonderful and everything went so smoothly. you picked a good dr good luck on your journey!
