Lap Band Surgeons

Hi! Can anyone recommend a great surgeon for the lap band in the south jersey/Philly area?? Also, how long does it take to normally get the surgery date? I'd like to schedule the surgery for midapril. Thanks

Hello, I had the Lap Band surgery on 9/11/06 by Dr Irgau, from CHRIAS, in NEweark, Delaware, which is only 15 minutes from Delaware County, Pa. line (the Commorodre Barry Bridge area). They were fantastic with everything, from the surgery (can be done at either St Francis or Christaina Hospitals....I chose St Francis no real reason), to the the insurance approvals (I have B/C B/S Personal Choice) and aftercare...I have lost a total of 38 pounds since surgery and had my first fill on 11/1/06...I am due for my 2nd fill tomorrow........The surgery went real well and the recovery was great.......
