DID I JUST SEE WHAT I THINK I SAW???????
Holy cow, folks, I can't believe it. You could convince me today that there is such a thing as Santa Claus, because I woke up this morning at home, for the first time in more than a week since we were on vacation, and that jolly old elf has tampered with my scale.
I have lost 97 pounds, and have officially entered the 100's 198 to be exact.
I rode all of the rides in Disney and Universal without worrying about fitting my big fat arse into a seat (okay, I still worried, but less as the week went on), and I didn't get sweaty or out of breath once all week.
Best of all, I met up with a friend of mine, who I knew from when I lived in S. Florida. She was pretty vocally against gastric bypass surgery. She has now dieted her way up to 400 pounds, couldn't walk around, couldn't ride all of the rides, and now thinks this might be a good way for her to lose weight.
And, another friend from the UK called me to tell me that with my encouragement and inspiration, she saw her doctor, who has recommended her for an RNY. She hopes they can get her on the schedule in the next 3 months or so.
It's been a great week I couldn't have made it this far without all of you guys with your great advice and information.
Merry Christmas to me
