3 weeks into my surgery but would like to talk
its normal. dont be alarmed. your body will lose more some weeks than others.
just do what your doc has told you to do.
drink your water, get in your protein and the weight will continue to come off.
just be aware that the further you get from your surgery date, the more likely you will go thru stalls. at 3 months i went into a three week stall, drove me nuts. then all of a sudden the weight started to drop off again.
so keep up the good work and congratulations on your losses so far.
hugs, jacki
hi again
i had my surgery july 26th and to date i have lost 74 lbs. i feel good most days, some days i still find it hard to eat things and worse, some days i get hungry and that scares me more. but, the good thing is that my new little tummy wont let me pig out , that is such a wonderful thing, but mentally i get scared.
if you want to know anything else, just let me know.
keep up the good work, hugzzzzzzz, jacki
Ladies thank you so much for the support.... Tomorrow will be four weeks since surgery.... Still moving a bit slow... Certain foods I thought would go down easy like scrambled eggs or even egg whites just don't cut it... But tuna I have no problems with... Going away this weekend to AC for a cheering competition.... Its tuna and oatmeal for me... What are some of the foods you ladies seem to like or dislike?
Be well.....
Lori
hi lori
since my surgery (11/22/06) it's been yogurt, pudding and mashed potatoes with beef broth to make it soupy -- that's been my diet lol according to my dietician (who's a doll) i can start puree/blenderized foods on tuesday -- we'll see what happens then i'm always up for a challenge!!
when ross had his surgery (5/22/06) we used to pack a little cooler with yogurt, pudding and waters -- it was simple enough -- life is complicated enough without worrying what to eat lol
take care
