RePost - Friday, December 1st - Toms River OCWLS Meeting and Party

Just a reminder that our normally scheduled Ocean County Weight Loss Surgery (OCWLS) support group meetings this Friday, December 1 in Toms River at Community Medical Center, Aud A - 7-9pm. Also we are going to include a Holiday Celebration with "WLS friendly food and drink" along with our meeting. If you can, please plan on bringing something with you along this vein when you attend. It is not necessary to bring enough for everyone - samples are fine as there will be enough variety to go around. Ok let me know whose in, and if you like, let me know what you plan on bringing (not necessary). Oh - and for those that attended my Home Interior Party - the order is in! Hi Nannette, I would not be offened if you do not remember me, but we did communicate through these board prior to you getting your Surgery. Denial, Denial from Aetna, and here we are 3 years later and I got the LapBand done after changing insurance to United HealthCare. I had the surgery done 3 weeks ago and was looking forward to attending the Support Group- But tell me this, is this Months meeting a Party or is it a support Session- Either is fine, but I would not crash your xmas party, since it would be the first time I would be attending. Hi Chris -- I do remember you -- glad you perservered and finally got WLS. We have both lapbanders and RNY's at our support group, so you will be welcomed by both. This month's meeting is both a brief regular meeting, followed by a party. I think you should definately come this month, and socialize with us and find the support that we all need in this journey.
