Tip Toeing into December

Hi everyone. I am saying a prayer for all my fellow NJ people going for surgery these last days of November. To all of you, may God guide the hands and minds of your surgical teams, and may angels protect you and fill your souls with peace. I am so obsessed with this OH site. I literally spend hours a day on here reading webpages. I am always astonished at the before and after photos. I am getting close to a definate surgery date . It is tentativley Jan 15 for RNY here in Freehold.I should get a definate date this Friday or maybe Monday...that's when they are going to submit to my insurance company (Qual Care) which they tell me usually approves without a problem. So we shall see. I can't concentrate on anything else but this whole amazing journey I started last August. LOL! I mean I know I have an addictive personality, but this is a little over my limit..... I am trying to continue doing some Fall cleaning and get ready for Christmas. I can't concentrate at all....OMG........it's terrible, but everything coming up is also so very exciting. ...and I can't deny, scary too. What helps calm my fears, # 1 is I know God wants me to get my good health back, and if He is for me, no one can be against me...and # 2 All the pages I read, which are many, 99.9 % say they would do it all agian in a heartbeat. ....that is very posative and inspiring to me, thank you all. Hiya Cissy, This coming Dec. 5 will be my 1 year anniversary since having my surgery. I was the same exact way as you..any spare minute that I had was spent on this site, reading, researching..you name it! I still come back..I like to read about other's journey..see if it's anything matches me in anyway..It's a wonderful and frustrating journey..I have no regrets! I love my new life! I've lost almot 140 lbs and feel GREAT!! I can keep up with my kids now..I even ran the other day! LOL Good Luck to you, I hope you get your date soon! Tracy

Hi Tracy, Thanks for your encouraging words. I used to work up in Edison, at the Vetarans Home. This is my first time posting on the NJ board. I have been posting on the Nov board all month. Hi Tracy, I'm 5mths out and would do it again...But I remember feeling the same way I had all kinds of things running though my head but everything turned out fine. Jerelyn, That would be awesome ! I have a tentative date of Jan 15 th. I will know the exact date for sure by next week. I would look forward to that. Dear cissy all the time ive written to you, I never knew you were in freehold. Do you know where "sloan rd" is?? My brother lives off there. With 4 grown son's, their name is "harrington". Do you know any of them? Just a thought. Still want to know where you got the beautiful picture that you post with. Thanks bridget k.
