scarred of excess skin
my husband at 6 months out has gone from 373 to 241 and he will definitely need his skin removed -- our PCP has already started the 'medically necessary' process since it will take a while (probably a year)
BUT with clothes on you could never tell that he has excess skin -- and he loves his compression shirts and i don't expect him to be wearing a Speed-o anytime soon if ever at all hehe
saw my g/f last weekend who had surgery 3 yrs ago -- she looked WONDERFUL!!!!!! i don't know what she started at -- but she's at 200 now and i couldn't stop hugging her and telling her how great she looked -- i know she has lost about 150 tho -- i haven't seen her since before her surgery since i live in another state -- but she said that the clothes hide all she hates the hanging arms -- so she just hides everything with clothing
hope this helps you

My best friend lost over 100 lbs and her excess skin is barely noticeable. I have told my husband that once I have the surgery and lose weight I will look good with clothes but without them he may long for the days when I was heavier. I started putting $20 or so away every week as a "plastic surgery fund". If it turns out I don't need/want it I will have lots of $$ for all the new clothes I will need!
