CAN'T WAIT TILL SURGERY

Im having the Lap Band surgery done in January and am soooo excited to have it. I don't have all that much to lose my BMI is 33 but the DR. said I was a perfect candidate since I have been diagnosed with diabetes...I need to be healthy...Can anyone give me suggestions about the Lap Band, how fast they lost and what they ate in the begining...Thanks....

Click on Forums, then Lap Band. Then on the left side of the page click on Message Board. That will bring you directly to the Lap Band message board. There are people from all over the world but everyone there had Lap Band. Dear jenn, I thought I was on the lapband forum. I hit forum, click on lap-band, than click on nj. It their another "lapband" forum? Please tell me. That is what I am having, I'm hoping in dec/2006. When you clicked on the Go Local it brought you to the New Jersey Forum. Click on Forums, then Lap Band. Then on the left side of the page click on Message Board. That will bring you directly to the Lap Band message board. There are people from all over the world but everyone there had Lap Band. I had a leak so my band was empty for 3 months. They replaced the port and I am back in business. When I was getting a fill they would try to take out the previous fill level but it was always empty. Nobody knows how or why it happened. My BMI is about 35 and i'm having problems getting approved. Who is your doctor?

The only reason my Dr. is doing it at my BMI is because I have diabetes and had a heart attack 6 months ago....
