I had lost 25lbs since surg, but in the past week and a half have lost nothing. Is this normal? Any suggestions? Thanks. Celeste

Dear celeste I'm also from south jersey. However, I'm having lapband in dec. I hope. Where did you have yours done. Have you had your first check-up with your doc? They would prob. Tell you if that is normal. I'm sure everyone is different. After two weeks, I'm sure you are not eating too much. Best of luck to you. Nobetterwomen, bridge

Hi Celeste, What you're experiencing is normal. Keep in mind that in the beginning you were strictly on liquids and soft pureed foods. As you start to increase your food intake with solid foods, you may not loose as much, but as long as you're loosing in a steady pace, you should be fine. Also, your weight will flucuate so I would suggest not focusing on the numbers on the scale, but also inches as well. Just follow your doctor's instructions and before you know it, you will be at your goal weight. Hope this helps, Carla

Hey Celeste, Right next door in Sicklerville. I'm just wondering what your excercise level is? Make sure you take time out everyday to excercise. Good Luck!

Phil thanks for the reply, I really do need to start walking more. I was told to walk at least 30 min a day, so I go shopping in big stores & count that as excercise. After 2wks I finally broke that plateau Yea! Take care. Celeste
