so that is what Sheri looks like!!!!! glad all went well for ya the pain in your shoulder and arm could be from anethesia -- sounds stupid but it could be take care of yourself and take your water and get up and walk and do that some more -- and in a week you can tell me to do the same thing take care roberta

Hi Roberta! I was finally able to upload my photo....Terri Riley sized it for me, she is a doll! I am feeling so much better today. I wonder if the aches were from the anesthesia...I didn't have them after my hysterectomy but did have them after a D & C that I had in the same hospital! I am still achey today but it's at least 50% better. Can't drink much today, only 2 oz. per hour! I'm sipping away! You have a good teacher in your hubby so you are more than ready for your journey! thanks for your list also!

Hi Sherri, Glad you feel better. I noticed that no one mentioned gas pains...They have to fill your abdomen with gas for surgery to blow it up so they have room to work in there. The gas has no where to go, so it gets trapped in the upper body. Walking does help, but I know that the brand name "Gas X" now has thin strips that dissolve on your tongue. Hope this helps.
