at two weeks out i would call your surgeon first. i am a few months out and i add fiber to my drinks and use ground flax seed in my cottage cheese. but i think you should call the doc first. good luck, jacki

Melissa~ I had the same problem after surgery, I still do, and it's 10 weeks... BUT, my doctor did tell me I could use glycerin suppositories...my problem was that I was impacted, not constipated, so the suppositories really helped. Now, I am constipated, so I take Benefiber chewable, 3 a day, and it does help. I only have a bowel movement about every 5'th day, but I don't eat a lot either. I do protein drinks a lot. Please don't accept my suggestions as gospel, as with anything else on these boards..please check with your doctor.... If I don't say that...... the flaming would last from now until next Saturday! Hope things are moving along very soon for you! Michelle Brennan
