Where's My Cheerleaders?? Eighty, Eighty, Eighty, Eighty!!
Woohoo I hit the 80 pound mark today - just a few days after my 3 month anniversary I bought a pair of size 16 jeans, and they are already starting to get big (okay, they're stretch jeans, but let a girl have a thrill once in a while).
I feel good - still have most of my hair! I was doing pogo stick jumps with my kids yesterday. Gosh, why did I not do this so much sooner???
And I leave for FL in 2 weeks - WHERE I WILL BE SWIMMING!!!
Okay, back to cheering...Eighty, Eighty, Eighty
anna
way to go on your 80 lbs. keep up the good work.
now tell me your secret, we had surgery around the same time and for awhile we were at about the same weight loss stage. i hit a stall and ive lost 62 pounds to date. are you doing anything special food or protein drink wise???? im curious to know.
thanks, jacki and congrats again on the wonderful loss you have had.
Hey, Jacki I am doing ProScore 100 Chocolate protein shakes, mixed with Splenda and General Foods International Coffee sugar free, decaf French Vanilla Creme. It's not bad - tastes like a Frappucino from Starbucks. But, I get at least one of them in a day - two if I'm going to have a bad day eating.
I also either go to the gym or walk my butt off. I had all three kids home yesterday and knew I wasn't going to make it to the gym - so I hauled them all out to the zoo and walked the whole thing twice.
Most of my meals are soup - and I look for the highest protein content I can find - Black bean soup, bean with ham (although that's a little fatty), even some chili.
And, this week, I started to try protein bars - Atkins has one with chocolate chips that isn't bad. It takes me at least two attempts to finish the bar, but it's got a good, high protein level in it.
You're doing AWESOME!!! I have hit two major stalls, but I know that I am crappy at getting enough water in. I'm on the road so much that I worry I'll have to stop at every potty to pee, so I don't drink so much when I'm driving around.
Keep up the GREAT work! I'm so proud of you!!
