support group in Central NJ

Hello, I had my gastric bypass surgery on 10/11 up in North Jersy at St. Barnabas. I live in the Jackson/Howell area and i need help finding a support group. CentraState offered one, but they want $300. for a year. I cannot afford that right now. Can anyone please email me to help find a group. I would be greatful. [email protected] thanks

there is a support group in toms river at community medical center in one of the conferance room every Thursday from 7 to 9 PM the meeting is only for those that have had the surgery or is in the process of awaiting a surgery date. Hey Jen -- two support groups near you -- both sponsored by OCWLS (Ocean County Weight Loss Surgery) Support Group -- first Friday of each month at Community Medical Center, Aud A in TOms River - 7-9pm. Next meeting is Dec 8th. and third Monday (for now) of each month at Kimball Medical's Center for Healthy Living, 198 Prospect Street in Lakewood - 7-9pm. Next meeting is Nov 20th. There is also a group sponosred by Dr Borao at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch on the third THursday of each montn - call Monmouth Medical to verify timing and locations.
