Hi I had my gastric bypass 2 years ago this October, I have been having some issues and just recently had to under go surgery for an internal hernia. I would like to find a doctor to go to for another opinion. I have all the faith in the world with my surgeon, but due to on going medical issues, I feel I need to go for another opinion. Does any one know of any doctors in the Northern NJ area, who would see a patient who already had the bypass done? thanks Mary

Try Dr. Bertha is Florham Park. He is part of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeons. http://www.advancedlaparoscopicsurgeons.com/ Hopefully that link will work to their website. If not just copy and paste. He did my husbands surgery in June and mine a week ago today and I think very highly of both him and his partner. Good luck and prayers to you. Melissa

Try Dr. Eliott Goodman , Holy Name Hopsital in Teaneck. he specializes in revisions and difficult cases. He did my revision in July. He will also go to bat with your insurance. Thanks to his medical reports, my insurance paid up, and he was out of network. Catherine
