I was approved today and have a date

My doctor's office called me this morning at work to tell me that the insurance company (United HealthCare)has approved the procedure, Lap Band in one week. While on the phone we scheduled my surgery date as January 22nd 2007. I chose to wait becuase of many commitments between now and New Years. I have my date for my pre op endoscopy and Dr meeting. The one down side is that my surgeon requires two weeks of Medifast before surgery to shrink my liver, I am not looking forward to that.
