Crying at Getting Reacquainted With An Old Friend

Oh my gosh, guys, I can't believe it! I took my daughter to the mall the other day to pick up some underwear. She is a size 3, so of course, she can wear anything she wants. Her favorites, of course, are some Victoria's Secret panties that are super smooth and comfortable. Well, on a whim, I saw they came in a size XL, and I thought I would keep a pair in my drawer to keep reminding myself of why I did what I did to my body. My husband has been working in CT, and only home on weekends, and he encouraged me to try the panties on today. Can you believe they FIT! I was bawling my eyes out!! And the matching bra I bought - in the same size I have worn for about 10 years? The cups are too big!! My boobs are shrinking!! My old friend, Victoria So long since I've seen her!! You bet your sweet patootie I ran back to the mall today and bought three more pairs!! lap RNY 8/1/06 295/227/165

Anna, First off, CONGRATS ! I know how great that feels. Being a man having this surgery, my fiance doesn't understand why I get weepy sometimes. . At just under 500 lbs needless to say I was a 6x, 66 waist. I'll never forget the first time I went to the Big and tall store, and the guy behind the counter said,"Can I help you" ? I simply replied, not any more. went to Target and bought something off the rack. I know how great that feels. Now at 210 pounds,and a large/XL, and a 36 waist. I shop at Macy's again, and I buy calvin klien, and guess, and all the stuff I couldnt get into in 10 years. I now love shopping, and do it often . I love looking good again. Enjoy it ! It's the best feeling ! Best of luck getting achieving all of your goals ! Julian
