A family member is preparing for weight loss surgery but neither she nor I see any information on any bariatric site about the surgeon she was referred to. He works at Kennedy Hospital but the only surgeons I see listed in this forum are Drs. Slottman and Tucker. How do I find bariatric credentials? How do I find a facilities track record with baiatric patients? Any help is appreciated.

Google the doctor....if he is listed, they will show his credentials. Best Wishes!!

You could mention the name of the doctor here, and maybe someone has information for you. If you can't find anything by doing a web search, I'd be a little cautious about going - make sure you find SOMEONE who can give you SOME information. Our Lady of Lourdes has just been named a Center of Excellence - maybe she would be interested in switching doctors?
