Dear Friends, This year I am once again participating in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. I am attempting this five-mile walk in memory of my aunt, Anita Holland, who died from Breast Cancer in 1984, as well as in memory of my first husband, Chuck Ryan, who died from Prostrate Cancer in 2004. Making Strides is a non-competitive walk that takes place in more than 100 cities across the country. Making Strides has no registration fee and no fundraising minimum, which means that more people can participate. However, the many American Cancer Society breast cancer programs depend on the generous donations collected by Making Strides participants, so I'm asking you to please support me with a donation of any amount. Whether its $5, $20, $50 or $500, every bit truly does help. We're making great strides in our fight against breast cancer, but I won't quit until we're done. Hope Starts Here... With Us! Visit my personal page to join or to donate online in support of my participation in this worthy cause: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?px=1628212&pg=personal&fr_id=2166&s_tafId=4774 Additionally, if you would like to join me in my walk, a team of us will meet in front of Bonita's Salon in Toms River, 2008 Rt 37E, at 8:30am on Sunday, October 15th. From there we will carpool to Point Pleasant where we will start out walk with everyone else at 10am. If you would like to join us, let me know. Thank you for your support. Hugs, Nannette
