Powerhouse Gym

Hi ya'll: Well I finally joined a gym down in Ocean. I know most of you from the OCWLS group go to the TR gym on 37, but Powerhouse was way closer to me--maybe 1 mile from my house. I got it for $30/mo (women's special), and it's open 24 hrs a day on weekdays and long hours on the weekends. Does anyone else go there? Angela

Angela~ I live in Brick, right off Rt. 70. Powerhouse is just 2-3 miles from my home. What are all the charges associated with the membership? Is there an initiation fee, yearly contract? The cost of $30 per month is certainly fair. If the price is right I might be joining, and I know Jacki is looking for a gym also.... I will pass the information onto her. Michelle Brennan

Hi there: I paid $99 down, I don't remember how long the contract was, one or two years. I'm not concerned about ever breaking it, being an atty, I've done it before with no problems *wink wink*. The $99 wasn't bad, at my last gym I paid $150 down and $50 a month. I know it's a special for women, and I don't know how long it's going to last. Angela
