North NJ Support Group Meeting

The next Lighter for Life Support Group meeting will be Monday, October 9th, from 7 to 8:30 pm. Meetings are currently being held in our interim location at the Paramus, NJ Lighter for Life office on the 2nd Monday of each month. Everyone is welcome, both pre- and post-op, regardless of surgeon, procedure or hospital program. There's been quite a bit of "press" recently regarding addiction transfer. This is something that's recently been observed in people that give up the overeating but then substitute other compulsive behaviors. Our focus this month will be "Dealing with Our Demons". We'll have an open discussion of issues that affect us and what we sometimes do, resulting in self destruction.
