Any Support Groups In the Middlesex County Area!

My doctor is sending me to a support group but I think it's in Toms River anyone know of any closer to middlesex county New Brunswick Area?

Madeline, I have the same problem. You are close to me. I live in Jamesburg. Dr. Metha has a support group opened to anyone in east brunswick, I think it is the 1st or send tuesday of the month. Dr. Brolin (my Surgen) has a support group the 1st Monday of the month at 7 O'clock in his office in Dayton.

Hmmm is that Dr. Mehta the one with the radio and tv annoucements? the first time I looked into WLS I was sent to him they wanted me to pay 150 dollars to attend the group I don't have that kind of money. If I'm wrong then I would definatly go but if theres a charge for the support group I can't afford it. Let me know ...And thanks for the response

Good evening all, There is a support group at The Bariatric Surgery Center at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center. The next meeting is on October 19, 2006 from 5:30pm to 7pm. The doctor associated with this support group is Dr. Demesvar Jean-Baptiste but all are welcome to attend the meetings. They are held in the Bariatric Center which is adjacent to the main hospital. Dr. Mehta is the first Tuesday of the month at the Hilton. He doesn't charge! He also doesn't charge for a seminar, the $150. is for a consultation. He was my doctor and he was fantastic. From my consultation to surgery was only 5 weeks. Anyway, if you want more info on his support groups you could go to his website.
