Hi Everyone: Just an update for you.. Had my NST on 9/22.. thought i was going to die on that treadmill, i was so out of breath it wasn't even funny.. Got the results and I am CLEARED!!!!!!!! Psych was last week also and I am CLEARED!!!! Now I have venous doppler 2morrow morning and pulminary @ SOCH..Went to Gastro guy today very nice man Dr. Kurtz in TR.. Went to schedule my endoscopy and was disappointed.. FIrst opening is Nov13 I told them if they have an earlier cancellation to please call me. I was hoping to have all my tests done by october so i can get scheduled for november.. oh well everything happens for a reason...TTYL Charlene

Way to go Charlene!! Hopefully the Gastro guy will have a cancellation. If not, have you considered seeing another Gastro? That seems like a very long time to wait just for an EGD....6 weeks. I would think that another doctor might be able to see you and schedule you sooner than that. Just my opinion though. You do whats comfortable for you. You've got a great surgeon in Dr. Bilof and thats the most important thing. I used his partner, Dr. Nusbaum and was so super pleased. Best of luck to you. Hugs and , Kathy 5'2" 285/138

Hi, Charlene, we have the same dr. and he is great. Did you try to see the dr. That Dr. Bilof reccomends? They work hand in hand and they got me in real quick.Within the week I was going in for my endoscopy. His name is Dr. Green and his office is about 1 block from Dr. Bilof's. Hope this helps.

Toni~ Long time, no hear/see. How are you doing? I celebrated my 1 month post op yesterday! I can't believe yours was 2 months already! My damned scale has said 25 pounds down for almost 2 weeks now! I have to stop getting on there everyday. How are you feeling? Michelle Brennan

Hi, Michelle, I feel prettty good, even though I just got home from seeing my PCP for an upper respitory infection. I got a prescription for an antibiotic( liquid) and hope to feel better in a few days, otherwise good . I am at 49 lbs. and hoping to break the 50 soon.

Hi Tonu: I hope that you had gotten my email. I live at exit 58 on the parkway and its a very loooonng drive. I will keep checking every week just to see who knows someone might cancel.
