Okay clear liquids today....I couldn't do popsicles at 9am. The jell-o wasn't ready--boo hoo. But the broth!! OMG takes like dukey!! Smells like bad cat food.....help help...tried two different brands so far...still no good. I GOT MAJOR (i am talking major) DRY HEAVES. Crap. Can I add some spices? -not too spicy-I know. But I have to do something...otherwise when I get home---gonna be a problem. I have a huge headache today from not eating..I did eat 3/4 of the bowl of jell-o and I will eat the rest in a few minutes. So all I had today was: 1 cup herbal tea 2 sips of broth 1 cup of herbal tea 1 cup jell-o another cup of jell-o 2 sips of different broth yikes no wonder I have a headache! help help!!

Hi Barbara: I could not find any brand of chicken broth I could tolerate. It is just so nasty!! When I was on full liquids, I had my husband pick up wonton soup from the Chinese take out place. He ate the wontons, and I had the broth. I can not tell you how delicious that broth was. Might want to give that a try.

Hi Barbara I too have had a problem with broth and I good friend (Mae) told me about wonton broth it was the BEST for the liquid phase. I loved it I used to water it down alittle because of the soduim. I could go for some right now I wi**** had LOTS of protein in it because I am struggling with protein issues.I had surgey 8 weeks ago and need 75 grams of protein I really do not like the powders. Good Luck Nancy

I love you both!!! Thank you so so so much! I love the broth from wonton soup! Headache is finally going away...I figured out its like having a hangover-- not enough oxygen to the brain...so I drank a lot of crystal light lemonaid...headache almost gone!! So now panic has left me knowing that when I get home I can have wonton broth...we have a yummy (best chinese we ever had) chinese take out within walking distance from the house!! Gotta get some sleep...gotta be at the hosp at 6am!!! Take care!!!

Have you tried the Manischevitz brand? I've used it to strech chicken soup for holiday dinners. (Although the broth from wonton soup sounds good to me, too!) Tami
