Quick Approval

Just wanted to share that Dr. Jean-Baptiste called to let me know that I was approved! I was so shocked! He got approval based on the psych and nutritional evaluations! All of the other tests and consults I am getting are just for his files prior to surgery! I have Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield POS and it's the best insurance in the world! I guess there are percs working for low pay in a school! I hope to have the surgery on November 9 when schools are closed for teacher's convention!

I am happy for you. Quick approval is great I have horizon nj plus and they approved me on my first letter, so I know whow estatic you are. My surgery date is scheduled for 11/8/06.

Thank you for your kind words! Saw the gastroenterologist, pulmonologist and cardiologist this week. Did the lung function test, that went well so I'm all signed off. I need an echocardiogram and nuclear stress test so that's scheduled for October. Having the ultrasound of the gallbladder on Monday and the endoscopy (along with colonoscopy - two birds with one stone) for Oct. 17. By the end of October I should be all done with testing! Whahoo! Raizel, my surgery is scheduled for Nov. 9! Where are you having yours done? Which doctor?
