VIACTIV CALCIUM w/sugar?
Timmy Ray~
We can talk more tonight, but the wrestling club that we go to is in Lakewood Industrial Park, it just moved from Wall. It's called Shore Thing. We aren't going right now because Conor is playing on 2 soccer teams and Daniel is playing football for Brick High School. As soon as football and soccer are over we will be going back. The way they run their training sessions is Middle School kids Monday and Wednesday and High School kids Tuesday and Thursday nights. (I think that was the order, don't quote me... it's 2 nights per week per school level) Here is the link to their website -------> http://www.shorething.homestead.com/index.html
It's a great club. I can let you know when we start going back if you want to come with us and check it out. There might be a lot of connections there for you? Our assistant coach at Brick High took a new teaching job out of district, so we lost him this year, and he is the better coach there But to coach in Brick Schools you have to teach here too, so that doesn't help you much either. We will find a way to get you plugged in!
See you tonight!

Timmy Ray~
Remember we spoke the other day at the Lakewood meeting about you being able to apply for a coaching job for wrestling at Brick High? You asked about being able to take the job if you are on the "sub" list? You can. My kids tell me that one of thier other coaches is a sub for Brick too.
I would suggest calling the athletic director at Brick High School and maybe setting up an appointment with him. I don't know who it is, but the number is 732-785-3000. There are 2 high schools in Brick, Old Brick and Brick Memorial. My kids go to Old Brick, that's where the head coach for wrestling job should be open, unless they found someone and didn't tell the parents club yet? Let me know how you make out there? Good luck!

Michelle,
Your problem with the viactive chews won't be the sugar, but the fact that they are the wrong kind of Calcium for RNY' ers. We need to use Calcium Citrate, Viactive has Calcium Carbonate and that cannot be absorbed properly by people who have had RNY.
I swallow Calcium Citrate pills and I have since I was a week out, 3 years ago. I just had my second Dexa Scan since surgery and I have no osteoporosis, so I must be getting it right. I am down 280 lbs from my pre-surgical weight and still have about 30 lbs to lose.
The dietitian from my Program New Beginnings at Virtua Hospitl as well as my surgeon, ann my dietetics professors all say the same thing...Citrate only because of absporption issues.....
Good Luck,
Kelly
