Psych Visit

Hello all hope you are having a most pleasant day on this sunny sunny day!!! I am headed to see the Psych doctor 2morrow @ 9:45 in livingston since I am having my surgery in St. Barnabus.. Dr. Goldberg is his name. Any of Dr. Nusbaum or Dr. Bilof patients see him? Let me know what you thought, what to avoid and how you did.. I am nervous about going to him as I don't have any clue what to say... Thanks for the help.. Charlene

I saw Dr. Goldberg just last Monday. He was very nice, no problem at all. Just answer his questions honestly, and it will be easy. Just a simple conversation. Dr. Nusbaum's office had the report the next day. Tami

Hi Charlene! Is this Dr. David Goldberg who also has an office in Little Silver? Or someone else? If it's that Dr. Goldberg (and for anyone who goes to see him): I saw him a few months ago for a consultation, just so I could talk about WLS, emotional eating/compulsive eating and any thoughts he had to offer about what I might address in therapy with my regular therapist. He gave a terrific consult--is very knowledgable about weight issues, women's issues and a variety of related subjects near and dear to the hearts of many potential WLS patients. He works closely with the bariatric surgery program in the hospital near where his main office is. I particularly enjoyed the lovely art in his office and reception area. There was some therapeutic value in just taking time to look at the various drawings and paintings
