1 more test added on

hi guys while at the cardiologist office today he decided that i should also have a (michelle have you heard of this??) Nuclear Stress Test -- everything was fine, he just wants to be thorough -- i felt like saying 'do you know that "thorough" means another day off from work?? another $25 co-pay???? another $15 parking fee???' -- so that test is on 9/26 --- oh well, life goes on take care roberta

Hi Roberta, I had a nuclear stress test a few years ago, its no biggie. They do your xrays... you drink some poop..you run your brains out on the treadmill, then, you get xrayed again --they want to see the blood flow. Lol and they try to stress you, it was a week before my birthday and the guy said "so I see you are gonna be 40 next week"..I asked him if he was trying to kill me...he laughed...beast. It didn't take long. And you can drive yourself in (no woosies or anything) Good Luck!!!

Roberta, Sheesh another test?! On treadmill or not? This can be done without the treadmill. Also I hope you are not planning on flying anywhere for awhile. You will set off detectors at airport. If you are planning on flying get a letter that you had this test done. You may want someone with you for this test. My sister had a bad experience with this test. They stopped it as she was in some cardiac trouble. Just take it easy and I will keep my fingers crossed that you pass this hurdle. Lot's of our docs prescribed us fen fen and pondimin etc for the weight and never thought they would cause early heart problems. Is this the last test for you? I hope it is. Ha ha ...sorry about the poop.....I was in a hurry and couldn't think of what it is, but it isn't tasty might as well be poop. OMG I haven't had a beer in years and ya know, I have been wanting one for weeks now...hmmm maybe this weekend. Absolutely not... is 43 a high number I just turned 43 also!!!! If they say anything to that effect, tell them they better sleep with one eye open cause he/she is gonna be on the list!!!! I am a pretty good amateur P.I. I will find them!!! Pre-Op Bariatric Patients can be lethal...LOL (my sis has a nasty neighbor, she is planning on sending me over to talk to him...just to show my lack of fear..lol) Its in the family, when the war broke out I told my mom that we can just send my sis over the week before "Aunt Flo" and she'll find Bin Laden for sure!!!!! She could take them all!!! No weapons either...LOL

Hey I know where Lindenwold is!!! My brother-in-law is a mailman there, and I just had dinner at La Esperanza Restaurant. (it was for my spanish class...yummy food!) I go to Berlin Farmers Market alot...lol. I love that place! My hubby is from Berlin. And most of his family is still in the area!' Small world huh?

Just came back from Berlin Market--man, was it pouring!!! I got my broth there really inexpensive...high in protein, no fat, and low in sodium! $1.49 per carton!!!! Also went to "Good 4 U" there and got my Isopure which the dietician said is a must for the liquid diet....40 grams protein per bottle...good deal! I only need my jell-o and sugar-free ice pops and I am good to go!!! Take care, Barb
