all done with my Hep Treatments -- i truly hope no one ever has to go thru something like that!!!! someday my hair will grow back -- but i did get my ass into my size 18 jeans last friday!!!! i'm down to 210 now -- i go for cardiac & pulmonary clearence tomorrow in philly -- saw my liver doc today (i love him!!!) and he'll write a letter to clear me for surgery -- so i'm on my way -- it's going to feel strange to get up on saturday morning and hopefully feel good!!!!! i'm really looking forward to it and to get back to the gym again!! i love going to the gym -- not for the workout -- but because for me it's relaxing -- it's time by myself with no worries about work or home -- just start walking or working out and taking my time -- don't let anyone bother me -- block out everything else -- and just relax and enjoy -- if i get muscle or lose weight that is a plus i have to give my husband a ton of credit for being there for me for 28 weeks of treatments -- not giving up even when i wanted too -- he was truly amazing love to all keep smiling roberta

Roberta~ I am so happy your treatments are over! That is a major hurdle you have cleared, on to the next challenge for you Now you can get on to the business of getting healthy and feeling good.... I wish you the best, as I am sure everyone else does too! I go back to the surgeon tomorrow for a post op nutritional meeting and check up. I took off my bandages already, so that is done. I guess he will do bloodwork. I have been having a sharp pain that comes and goes in my back, I can't wait to see what that is all about, it kept me up a lot last night? Any ideas? Love, Michelle Brennan

Hi Michelle, Your back is probably from your neck pain...it does the domino effect. I had to have back surgery 10 years ago..I have been through that already. don't let that go too long before you get it looked at. Did you go to the chiropractor?? Make sure you go to an orthopedic to get checked out...but if you ever need surgery...make sure its a neuro surgeon who does it. My mom has railroad tracks down her back and I have a 2 inch scar--no stiches no staples, just UPS packing tape (lol) and off I went. Instant pain relief ....as a matter of fact, I was shovelling the driveway 3 days after surgery and prior to...I was laid up for 3 months on my couch! Let me know how it went|! Off to my pre-op testing in AC now...talk to you soon! Barbara
