Just curious what you all always eat... I fall into a pattern, where I eat the same thing all the time. For me it's cottage cheese and beans. (NOT TOGETHER!) or some variation. This is my pattern for the last few weeks: Breakfast- I mix crushed pineapple in juice w/o added sugar w/ cottage cheese. Lunch-almost always a Wendy's Taco salad, minus the tortilla chips and dressing. Snack-rice cake with all natural peanut butter/more cottage cheese if leftover. Dinner-one of the above or some kind of meat maybe w/ a whole grain. I defintely don't need a variety in my life when it comes to food.

I am the same way, Angela! My nutritionist says I eat like a 3 year old, because when she goes through my journal, it is the same thing, over, and over. These days, I am eating some kind of high protein, low cal cereal (Nature's Valley Slender is my current) and skim plus milk for breakfast, a turkey, ham and low fat cheese sandwich on an light, whole grain english muffin, and some kind of meat with either sweet potato oven baked fries (yummy!) or a tiny bit of rice. My husband spoils me with home-made salsa, so that, with veggie crisps are my snack. My nutritionist wants me to eat 80 to 100 grams of protein a day, and I am having a problem getting that in. I really hate the protein drinks, so I am trying to get it in the food I eat. I'm almost there!! I am not much of a veggie or fruit person, so I promised my nutritionist I will eat at least one a day. Right now I'm all about the salsa!!

i think im in a rut food wise already, although i cruised the supermarket today to try and get some new stuff on my list. hey nannette can you buy those achieve one protein drinks anywhere local, i would like to try one, because i sure cant stomach any that i have tried so far, so im going without, which i know is not the best course of action. hey can u eat the sushi with the rice, wrapper and all??? im kinda thinking i might like to try that again, hubby likes it as well, although he eats all kinds of raw stuff that doesnt appeal to me as much. hugs, jacki
