REPOST - 2006 New York City Walk from Obesity

Hello All - I already posted this to the main board since not everyone visits the New Jersey OH forum...but here is the information again for those of us who only vist the NJ board. I'd like to remind you that the 2006 walk will be held on Sunday, September 17th, starting at 9:30 a.m., in Riverside Park (Riverside Drive between 83rd and 84th streets). I hope to see you there - I am personally delighted to be able to join in the fun...this time last year I was not have been able to do it, now 108 lbs later I'm fairly jumping at the chance to help support raising public and professional awareness about severe obesity and treatment of this disease through bariatric surgery. The 1 and a 1/2 mile Walk will be a non-competitive journey along the beautiful waterfront path of the Hudson River. On a clear day you will see the George Washington Bridge. Gold's Gym will provide a pre-walk warmout! We will do a loop in the park and retrace our steps to end up back at the starting line tent.
