I Finally Tried Surf Taco!

With all the recent talk about Surf Taco, last night I talked hubby into trying Surf Taco -- hard task since they don't serve beer! LOL In any case, the food was fresh, cheap and good for us bariatrics. Definately a young crowd there, with lots of kids, so I don't imagine us old-timers going that often for a "quiet dinner" -- however, I would definately recommend you try it out. Good for take out too! PS: I passed on the Nachos, but had a Vegie Taco that was good and tried some of hubby's Chicken Quesidilla too! Ummmm Hugs, Nannette

I usually get take out...b/c I'm on the run. Defintely a fun place. I met a great client there one time eating by myself.

OK.... For those of us who live closer to the PA side of Jersey.......... Where is Surf Taco???? From what I hear about this place it would be a nice ride for my honey and myself to take for some good food........... Oh Great Surf Taco eaters......point me in the right direction.... Tracie

Tracie~ http://www.surftaco.com/locations.html There are a few locations in NJ from what I understand, but the location we are talking about is in Silverton/Toms River NJ. It's on Hooper Avenue. I am sure you can call them for directions. The link above will show you the locations and phone numbers. They seems to have restaurants in Belmar, Seaside Park, Point Pleasant Beach and Manasquan too! It is worth the drive to experience the SALSA alone! Hi all, Just wanted to let you know that they are building one in Jackson. It should be open in the next few months. I've never eaten there but will most likely try it when it opens. Amy
