Walk From Obesity - Manhattan - 9/17

The Walk will be held at 9:30 a.m., in Riverside Park (Riverside Drive between 83rd and 84th streets - Map and Directions). Walk Details:We begin the Walk at the large white tent. To kick off our opening ceremony, we are excited to have NY Congressman Jerrold Nadler speaking. We will then be treated to warm-up exercises courtesy of Golds Gym. The 1 and a 1/2 mile Walk will be a non-competitive journey along the beautiful waterfront path of the Hudson River. On a clear day you will see the George Washington Bridge. We will do a loop in the park and retrace our steps to end up back at the starting line tent. Please register in advance to get your T-shirt, "goodie" bag, and raffle ticket. At the Walk closing ceremony, a number of exciting prizes will be raffled off, including: jewelry, a private professional golf lesson, Target gift cards, Circle Line Cruise tickets, Golds Gym memberships and more!
