Dr. Pupkova in New Jersey

Has anyone here used Dr. Pupkova as their Lap Band surgeon? What did you think of her? Did you feel comfortable with her? I'd especially like to hear from anyone who has been her patient since she left her partnership practice. Thanks in advance. AJ

Did she leave the Advanced Laparoscopic group in Florham Park? I used Dr. Bertha out of that same practice in July 2005 when she was still there. I really like her. Someone in the Toms River Group used her, but I can't remember her name.

Hi, Dr.Pupkova did my surgery June 2005 and I have lost 100 pounds.( I had the gastric bypass)The day I found her was the best day of my life.I never met a doctor like her-never.She really,really cares about you as an individual-not just a patient.She took me on after another doctor said my case was too complicated.She said"how could I not take your case-I can see how important this is to you-if it becomes more complicated,we'll deal with it"-well it was and she did.I saw her last week in her new office and was thrilled that I found her again-the old office wasn't the same without her(to me,anyway).Consider yourself very lucky to be her patient-I love her!
