As some of you know, a year and a half ago I had gastric bypass b/c I was discriminated against at my job. It was a devastating horrifying experience, and absolutely degrading. I ended up finding another job, and today, I just got my 2nd raise in less than a year, without even asking!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it! I just had to share. I think it's awful that obese people are discriminated against... What has turned around 180 for you?

Hi Angela - feels good to know you are appreciated, doesn't it? I didn't have job related problems as far as being valued or not getting raises, but I was limited from attending certain physical client outings (such as a ski trip) cause they didn't think (and were right) that I could keep up or do it! See you soon Nannette

Hey Angela: Congratulations! I am so glad that you found a company that values and rewards your hard work! I too, have felt that I have been descriminated against because of my weight. It is an awful experience, and I do not wi**** upon my worst enemy! I have to say, I've read your profile, and you are an inspiration to me! I hope that I can have as much success as you have with your weightloss. Best wishes for continued success!!
