Gastro Referral Needed in Mon/Oc County for Endoscopy (Post Op)

I have been having a pain in tummy above my belly button and slightly to the right for about 2 months now on and off. In the last month I have had an ultrasound of the gallbladder and HIDA Scan with CCK - both came back normal. My surgeon said he doesn't take any pain in that area lightly b/c of our new anatomy and all the possible complications post-op (no matter how big or small, consistent or not consistent), so now he wants me to have an endoscopy (which I did not have pre-op) to make sure there aren't any ulcers in the intensine area. My surgeoen (Dr. Bertha) is in Florham Park, NJ and I live in Red Bank. The gastros he works with are in his neck of the woods which is quite the drive. Does anyone have a recommendation for a dr. that can do the endoscopy and has LOTS of experience doing them on RNY post op patients in the Monmouth or Ocean County area? I understand scopes can cause issues of their own for us post-ops, so want to make sure I am in the right hands. I am 1 year out. Thanks! Jennifer

Don't know much about his experiences with WLS patients, but I used Scott Cohen in Toms River for my pre op testing and liked him. I've also heard some good things about his partner, Carl Raso. Keep us posted on results of testing. Hugs, Nannette
