Does anyone know if there is a Bergen County support group?

I had LapBand surgery on July 7th, and was thinking that a support group might be a good idea. Thanks in advance. Cathleen C

Hi Cathy, there is a support group through Valley on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month at the Kraft Center, at 15 Essex Street in Paramus. You just take Fair Lawn ave all the way through, past Saddle River Rd., past the cemetery, at the bottom of the hill, you make a right on to Essex! Hugs, Christine

Thanks Christine! I wonder if you have to have had your surgery done by the Valley group?? I know where Kraft is and it is only 5 minutes from my house I find that I am already eating way to fast. Thought hearing how others do it would help me out. I am also not sure how I am going to do the eating part while working. I have an early lunch 10:55 a.m. for 40 minutes. If I am not hungry I am out of luck. Thought I could get some help with time management. LOL How do you like all this rain??? Why would anyone have surgery by the travelling doctors from Columbia????? they dont have an office in the hospital and aren't available like doctors in the community. If you have a problem with either procedure good luck getting in touch with them.
