any support groups in Middlesex County?

Hello, I live in Jamesburg and had surgery 013006. I am doing great but really would like to attend a support group. I try to go to my surgens Dr. Brolin's which usually is the first Monday of the Month all of a sudden the meeting are 6:00 instead of 7:00 which makes it harder for me to attend. The Toms River groups are really to far. Does anyone know of a group in Middlesex or even Monmouth County?

There is a group the fourth Thursday of each month at Monmouth Medical Center - Dr Borao's group. There is another group of the OCWLS (meeting tonight) and third THursday of each month at Kimball Medical's Center for Healthy Living in Lakewood. Do either of those work for you? Nannette

I live over in Cranbury, so when you find one let me know and I will do the same here. I am scheduled for the 8th of Aug. So I am trying to prepare myself for everything. My insurance wouldnt let me use Dr. Brolin. I really liked him.

hi, I, too, am in Middlesex County (Old Bridge) and have been looking for a local support group. Apparently, there isn't any right now. If you look on the list of support groups, there was one, and I emailed the person, and finally got a response after awhile saying they tried to get it going, but it didn't work out. Perhaps we can get together with other bandsters and/or other WLS people in Middlesex and start something? I would love it!!! Please keep me in mind if anything happens. Or, I would be willing to do what I can. Hugs, June
