Have you found yourself getting frustrated and angry at people a lot more frequently after the surgery? I have been experiencing this a lot recently. Before when people said some thing mean to me or talked down at me I would shut up and walk away, then I would eat a burger or two to deal with the stress and anger. Now since food is not the escape I can run to, I have to actually deal with the anger and frustration. How do you deal with this?

I vaguely remember this. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but for me, with my low self esteem, I stuffed my anger with food. Now I tell it like it is more. I won't put up with BS.

Keep your cool - when people say stupid things to you its either they are just jealous or just don't understand what you are going through. You have to roll off your back & concentrate on feeling better. Go to the gym, take a walk, read a book. Forest Gump was right "Stupid is what stupid does!" Amy
