I am so ready
Hi, Donna: I was really nervous. But you know what? You can choose to go through something afraid or you can go through it unafraid, because either way you are going through it. You have to relax. Take a deep breath. Realize that you have all the homework, researched the right surgeon, the best support staff and had every test know to medical science to determine your ability to survive this surgery. General anesthesia in 2006 is so sophisticated and complete that you must trust that they know what they are doing and will not let anything happen to you. You are going to be fine. And one day you will look back on this life-altering experience and not even remember the anesthesiologist name. They are used to that. You have a lot to live for and they know that. They are gentle, capable and compassionate. Good luck DONNA..... I am praying for you. ShelleyAnne
