Hey guys, no donna, I did not call goyal. Even though I wanted to today. I went to point pleasant with my summer camp class. Got the crap kicked out of me and had enough seaweed in my suit to make a salad, anyway, starting Monday it is all about me..... But for everyone else..... Now what ??? I just found out that abkin and bertha are covered under my ins. And what about goyal.... So many drs. Which one to choose, how did u guys decide. I was gonna call goyal, cause donna recom. Him and he is soooooooo close, but now I found this out.... Help meeeeeeeee........ The chicken pox, by the way at age 33 is horrible, but thank God they are getting better... Only itchy in a few spots....

YUck Chix Pox ewhhhh- I would suggest you visit both Drs and see which one you might like best- for me it just clicked when I met my Dr and I knew I would be ok and comfortable with him- Good Luck

chicken pox? you poor thing. My surgeon was dr. abkin and I would recommend him to everyone! but again, it's your decision. a big part of my decision was their success rates. abkin/bertha have done over 4,000 RNY's and have had 8 fatalities (6 were high risk patients with many comorbidities). that is a death rate of .0025%!!!!! (the national average is 2%). Find out about goyal's success rates. Just a thought. If you need to know anything about Dr. Abkin, please email me anytime.
