Less than 2 weeks away

Hi Everyone! I have less than 2 weeks to go really really nervous!!!! Does anyone know if I am allowed to have caffeine? I know I cant have it after surgery but I wasnt sure before surgery. Any advice from anyone? Thanks Mae

hi mabel i don't see why you wouldn't be able to have anything BEFORE surgery -- but then again i don't see an M.D. after my name did you get booklets, paperwork, list of do and don't, anything from your surgeon on what to do, what to expect, anything??? take care roberta

It probably would be a good idea to try and wean yourself off caffeine prior to the surgery, so you won't get that caffeine headache when suddenly deprived of it. I am going in in 3 weeks and that has been one of the things that I have been working on.
