Giant step backwards!

Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I used Dr. Nicholas Bertha who works with Dr. Abkin out of Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dr. Bertha took Horizon bcbs. He was wonderful. Really great. He knows what he is doing! I will be post op for 3 years now at the end of July. I have lost 180 pounds and have kept it off. I am listed under the before and after. My name is Carolyn and I am originally from Lake Hiawatha, NJ. I met with Dr. Abkin as well to take my staples out while Dr. Bertha was away. He was not as nice or rather did not have a nice bed side manner. He did not even know how to make small talk at the office, like he was a real person. But, that does not mean that he is a bad surgeon. I just prefer Dr. Bertha. I hope this helps you out!

thanks carolyn, I will pay very close attention at the seminar as to who is who. Its hard to tolorate dry personalitiesi in doctors. you need to feel the concern for your health. will advise after seminar. thanks again, Byvonne

I used Dr Pupkova, she was in the practice with Abkin and Bertha but has since left to open her own practice. She is now at Moutainside hospital her new number is 973 452 8500. She is an amazing caring woman, I'm so happy I chose her. GOOD LUCK I had my surgery Nov 28th and was 252lbs and now July 7 I'm 169lbs.
