JUNE 28, 2005

Hi everyone, Today is my first surgiversary and it's been an awesome year. I went to the MD today and she took me off diabetes meds, 1/2'd the blood pressure med, and was SOOOOOOOOOO proud of me!! My hemoglobin A1C is 6.2, my cholesterol is 118, and EVERYTHING IS GREAT!! What a wonderful present I gave myself last year! 105 pounds down and only 50ish more to go to be "normal". Life is good!! I will be 65 years old next Wednesday and feel younger than I did at 55. YAY ME!!! I am not much of a contributor to this site, but I read your posts almost every day and you have all inspired me with your progresses. Thank you everyone!!! Betsy
