vitamins vitamins ?????
hey guys u know all those vitamins we have to take everyday after we have surgery ? and all that protein ??? is any of it prescription ?? and how much money does it cost out of pocket to do this daily regiman for the rest of our lives ?? i just need to know that it wont break my bank to buy all the stuff that i will need after surgery :-0
wal mart -- wal mart -- wal mart!!!
your antacid (nexium or zantac or whatever) will be a script
maybe a stool softener will be a script -- hubby has ducolax -- it's cheaper in script form -- go figure
anything else -- WAL MART!! hahaha
it seems like a large intial investment -- but remember, you only have to buy 'some' once a month -- and 'some' last more than a month
the powder protein we buy at GNC -- the cheap stuff -- gnc brand -- 11 bucks i think
it's cheaper than Outback
take care

Also .. additional to Walmart and its great prices .. I highly recommend COSTCO ... I've done a lot of price-comparison shopping and so far they can't be beat in many of the items .. eg. Calcium Citrate was cheaper for me to purchase at Costco than at Walmart ...
Mind you - you have to factor in the annual membership fee but we use Costco for more than the purchasing of our vitamins and minerals .. so we come out way ahead no matter what.
Good luck,

I get my vitamins at Vitamin Shoppe. I find their prices reasonable. They always have some sort of special or sale going on. If you join the Healthy Rewards Club (which is free) they will give you a gift certificate at the end of the year - it's based on how much you spend. I would guestimate that I spend approx. $10 - $15 per month on my vitamins.
You will not need to supplement your protein for the rest of you life. You will work up to the point where you will get all the protein you need through food.
Best of luck!!
