doctors making me crazy
can anyone fill me in on what their surgeons required as far as a pulmonary consult.
i went to the pulmonary doc today and he wants a pulmonary function test, a chest xray(that makes sense to me) and a sleep study for sleep apnea, which i have no clue why that is necessary.
anyone care to share their experiences..
this stuff is making me nuts....................

thanks so much for your quick response.
the thing is, i do not have sleep apnea
i just had some surgery in april, had anaesthesia and was fine.
plus over the last 6 years ive had a few other surgeries all with anesthesia and there was no problem at all.
i think the doctor wanting this is overkill.
i will have to talk to my surgeon and see what he thinks, im really against medical overkill, i work for doctors and i see this all the time.
thanks again, for your post and continued good luck to you and your family
