Hi Everyone
I just wanted to say thanks to all the people that wished me luck on my upcoming surgery. My surgery is tomorrow at 11:30. I am so nervous and excited at the same time. I know that everything will be fine but there is always that slight chance. That stuff they make you take to cleanse your bowels is gross. I almost couldn't even get it down. I will post when I'm up to it and let you all know how it went. Best wishes to all in there journey.

Please know that you will be in my prayers tomorrow. I know you must be nervous, but can imagine the excitement too. I am scheduled for surgery July 27, I have mixed emotions, but as the date gets closer, I am sure I will even find new ones! Good luck and Godspeed in your healing.

My prayers will be with you tomorrow. My other half Fred W. had RNY with Bertha 2 weeks ago tomorrow and he is doing awesome! Know that they are wonderful docs with great hands and you will do awesome. The results that he is already seeing are spectacular. You will have the same in now time and realize that you are on your way to an awesome life. God bless, Melissa
Hi Melissa !
I looked up where you are at.. Parsippany.. its a long ways from Ocean county lol but I wanted to encourage you and Fred in your Journey. Tell Fred that if he has any questions, or runs into any rough water as he travels this post surgery period to holler, okay?
Both my wife Sandi, and myself have had the RNY surgery, we met on the singles board here on Obesity help. We have an active and upbeat support group that meets ... in July we meet...
Friday July 7th at 7pm Community Hospital Route 37,. Toms River and
Thursday July 20th at 7pm Center for Healthy Living (by Kimball Medical Center) in
Lakewood, NJ
We have a person or two that come from as far away as Piscataway, I know its a long ways but if your ever in the mood for a encouraging meeting of upbeat folks, you are cheerfully invited to come check us out at a support group meeting : )
Have a super day, Godspeed to Fred as he heals and during recovery
