VV: I have Aetna and I'm going to an Aetna in-network provider so all should be covered. Dr. Ajay Goyal. He has done many of these surgeries and he is very confident and good and the girls in his office are great. He is in Union, NJ and operates at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Donna C.

Hi VV In our support group (of about 40-50 people of which any given month 20-30 attend) both Dr. Abkin and Dr. Bertha are very well spoken of. Another Dr. that is well regarded for his proceedures and ability in the NJ area is Dr. Trivedi. I have my surgery done in IOWA... if ever in Iowa I highly recommend Dr. Matthew Glass**** he is an ace : P But in NJ.. I would seriously advise you to find a doctor (this is just MY opinion) that can do Laproscopic RNY for you. Faster recovery... less little bothersome complications with the Laproscopic. All three doctors, (Abkin, Bertha, and Trivedi) have ZERO negative feedback that I have heard at our meetings, and I am a regular at both meetings, in Toms River and Lakewood. So you would do well I believe with any of those three? Good luck in your search. If you can, there are meetings coming up in July, where more of us attend and would have answers. Otherwise, feel free to ask here and we will gladly help answer any questions you may have : ) Godspeed, have a super day ! Timmy Ray PS we meet in July Friday July 7th at 7pm Community Hospital Route 37,. Toms River and Thursday July 20th at 7pm Center for Healthy Living (by Kimball Medical Center) in Lakewood, NJ
